So this week we met up with the second graders and sifted compost to go in the garden.
So how we “sifted the compost” was by taking compost and getting all of the plastic, peanuts, etc…. separated from the dirt and worms. Once we had all of the dirt and worms in multiple buckets we carried the buckets from the compost area to the hoop house (garden). I had a really funny trip to the hoop house, I went with Michael D and we got tired immediately. So eventually we were dragging the bucket up the hill….
